    Description
    An Indonesian Kris or Keris with a folded iron 5 luk blade, a carved wood hilt, and wooden sheath. From the appearance of the surfaces it appears to have significant age, possibly late 19Th or early 20th century. The iron blade was intended to take a fine edge, not ragged. Condition of all is very good, though there is a chip on the edge of the blade, toward the tip, and the hilt is a bit loose on the tang. It measures 20 1/2" long in the sheath. The blade measures 15 3/8" long.
