I really enjoyed tested this unit.   The foot rest is like large Electro pads and can also be heated.  One setting made it feel like getting a Percussion massage,  but there are no moving or vibrating parts,  it's all done with electrical current.   The video I saw also showed the base unit being used with hands instead of feet,  I personally didn't care for that feeling.  The knee strap is to hold your legs close together. It allows you to relax while maintaining the correct posture, so your feet get good contact with the electrodes.  I found it very beneficial.  Some people recommend placing damp paper towels between the feet and electrodes,  but I didn't find it necessary.   The small electrodes allow use on other body parts.  It uses 2 pads and there are 2 extra.
