  • Condition: The Limoges China Company "Rose Marie" Covered Casserole is in Very Good Pre-Owned Condition. Neither the top or bottom has any major issues. Ther are two very small chips on both sides of the inside lip of the lid. They are about 1/4" in size. There is one small yellow mark on the lid cover which won't come off. (Please see pictures for details.) Both the casserole bottom and lid are covered with a small craze. Determining the color of the ceramic was difficult as the pieces look different in different light. It is either Beige Ware or Golden Glow Ware. The bottom is not marked with a color determination. I could not find this exact piece on line. It is trimed with platinum on the top piece and side lips of the bowl. There is a slight overall fade on the piece as well. in spite of the defects mentioned above, it is a lovely piece. The crazing and uneven coloring give it an all over antique and charming look. it has been used, but I would say 'gently".

    LIMOGES Royal Beige Ware "Rose Marie" Covered Casserole Golden Glow Platinum HTF
    This covered casserole was made in Sebring, Ohio by the Limoges China company.
    The patterns is called "Rose Marie" and has 22k platinum accents which makes it a beautiful piece of china.
    The crackled finish on the Golden Glow finish add to its' vintage look. (The color of the ceramic background is not specified on the dish.  I think it is either "Golden Glow" or "Royal Beige"....either way, it looks great.)
