Old Silver & Wood Saucer Shape Vessel from Thailand

I bought this from a good friend and antique dealer  in my collecting days several years ago. He was a very well respected dealer who was much like a walking talking antiques encyclopedia who was well respected and sought out by hundreds of other dealers of antiques.
Story is, this small unique piece is from Thailand. The metal is silver, the remainder lacquered wood, it is unmarked, and dates to the later part on the 19th century. Overall condition is excellent. It is 3-3/4 inches in diameter and about 1-1/2 inches tall.
